Be sure to contact an oncologist over there as well.

There IS nothing wrong with euthanasia. Slaughter is NOT euthanasia, especially for horses, because the captive bolt used was designed for cattle that have been bred to docility for thousands of years.

Not so with horses. They throw their heads around making it almost impossible to get a clean shot the first time - so they often hit them again and again. It is HORRIFIC. Not only that, horses are often not properly stunned - a horse's brain is not in the same relationship to it's forehead as a cow's - and they regain consciousness while strung up waiting to be bled out.

As I said, this is NOT euthanasia by any stretch of the imagination.

Horses are NOT being turned out to starve. You should educated yourself and not listen to all the propaganda the pro-slaughter-money folks put out. Besides, slaughter is still going on. Thousands of American horses are being shipped every year to Canada and Mexico for slaughter. If you don't give a damn about your horse, you can still have it slaughtered - don't worry.

About that mustang meat and purity. The BLM is busy shooting almost all the mares with PZP - an experimental contraceptive that is a banned substance in food animals. Sue Wallis knows this. Maybe she wants to feed all the "poor" women PZP so they won't reproduce. You do not have to slaughter your horse, if you have $3-5,000 a year to maintain it for 30 years, but don't take the option away from the rest of us. I won't force my religion or diet choices on you, don't force yours on mine. Better to be slaughtered than turned lose to starve. Even HSUS says there is nothing wrong with euthanizing the horse, why shoot it and bury it when we are short of protein in this world.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4562357749295999770.post-24552938876312810352009-03-26T15:06:00.000-07:002009-03-26T15:06:00.000-07:00Idaho joins the Pro-Horse Slaughter Camp and becom...Idaho joins the Pro-Horse Slaughter Camp and becomes the 13th state to legislate for it;

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/idaho-the-13th-state-to-want-horse-slaughterAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4562357749295999770.post-86379127016313883902009-03-26T06:42:00.000-07:002009-03-26T06:42:00.000-07:00Attention true horse lovers while we are fighting ...Attention true horse lovers while we are fighting to end horse slaughter by the passage of H R 503, cattle producers want the following bills passed so they can continue to pollute our air with greenhouse gas from their cattle and then be exempt from paying the greenhouse gas emission tax that all other business will have to pay. We need to get everyone involved to vote against these bills. they want a free pass to pollute and kill our horses I say no to both and it is high time to fight back lets see how much horse slaughter is worth to them.

Contact your congressmen and senators let them know to vote for the quick passage of H R 503 and against H R 1438 and S 527. Remember it only takes one sympathetic senator to block their bills just as Conrad Burns blocked our bill last year. The pro slaughter associations need to know that as long as they oppose a horse slaughter ban we will oppose any bill they want passed. Let’s see how much money we can cost them; what will they be willing to pay to continue horse slaughter. The cattle associations are also against S 22 so urge your senators to cosponsor this bill as well.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12562279130420523326noreply@blogger.com
